Deck Repair and Resurfacing in Toronto and the GTA
New boards, stairs and railings on a sound frame, structural repairs where the frame needs help, or an honest recommendation to rebuild when it's past saving.

Every repair starts with the frame
Boards are easy to see. The problems that matter are usually underneath.
Posts and footings
Leaning, sinking or rotted posts, and footings that have heaved with frost.
Ledger board
The connection to the house. A failing ledger is one of the most serious deck problems.
Joists and beams
Rot, cracks, sagging and spacing. Composite boards need tighter spacing than most old decks have.
Railings and stairs
Loose posts, wobbly guards and uneven steps are safety items, not cosmetic ones.
From a few boards to a full resurface
- Board replacement: swap damaged or rotted boards
- Resurfacing: new wood or composite boards on a sound frame
- Structural repairs: new posts, footings, beams or added joists
- Stairs and railings: rebuild or upgrade to aluminum or glass
- Rebuild: remove the old deck and start fresh when the frame is done
