Lattice tops, heritage streets and creeks
Oakville's bylaw rewards lattice. Front yard fences can reach 1.5 m (4 ft 11 in) and boundary fences 2.2 m (about 7 ft 3 in), as long as the top portion is open lattice. We design fences to use that extra height properly.

About 160 linear feet of pressure-treated privacy fence with a gate, run along a sloping, wooded property line in Oakville where every post hole had to be dug by hand around tree roots.
