No. Chain link is common for backyards, dog runs and side yards because it's affordable and lasts. Black vinyl-coated chain link looks tidier in residential yards.
Can I add privacy to a chain link fence?
Privacy slats can be woven into the mesh, or screening can be attached. Check local fence rules, since some cities treat these as solid fences.
How long does chain link last?
